James Cardwell Jr of Petro Stopping Centers in El Paso TX will serve as the 2001 chairman of the National Association of Truck Stop Operators (NATSO). Jene Quirin of Alpine Auto/Truck Plaza in Bridgeport MI, will serve as first vice-chairman. Nelson Baker of P&H Truckstop in Wells River VT is the second vice-chairman. Roger Cole of Highway Service Ventures in Ashland VA is the 2001 secretary/treasurer. Tom Stanford of Newport Communications in Roseville CA will serve as the 2001 chairman of the NATSO Foundation. Delia Moon Meier of Iowa 80 Group in Walcott IA will serve as the foundation's vice-chairman, and Roger Phillips of Bridgestone/Firestone will serve as secretary/treasurer.

Glen E “Bud” Mitstifer, president and chief operations officer of All American Plazas Inc of Carlisle PA, has been awarded the Distinguished Member Award from the National Association of Truck Stop Operators (NATSO).
