Focused on innovation, Maxon turns 50

Maxon Lift Corp, manufacturer of truck and trailer liftgates, is celebrating its 50th year in business. The company was founded in 1957 on the spirit of innovation. Max Lugash invented and patented the first Tuk-A-Way liftgate in his shop in a suburb of Los Angeles CA. Throughout the years, Maxon has continued to innovate, with new products and services — from the GPTLR Tuk-A-Way to the BMR-A columnlift.

Now in the third generation of leadership, Maxon remains a family company that values innovation. From our customers, to our people, to our vendors, the passion that comes with being invested in family is our strength. The firm says it is the largest privately held liftgate company in the world, and the largest seller of Tuk-A-Way liftgates and Column liftgates worldwide.
