Donovan Enterprises has contracted Tom Myers of Everest Sales to represent the New England states and Quebec for the company's Insulated Products Division. Myers, who has 13 years' experience in the foodservice industry, will manage the territory from his West Redding CT office. Donovan named Stu Marshall national sales manager of the Insulated Products Division. Marshall has been in the refrigerated distribution industry for 10 years.

Eden Prairie MN-based GE Capital Fleet Services has appointed Marian Powell to senior vice-president-e-commerce. She most recently served as senior vice-president-North American operations for the company.

Western Star Trucks has appointed Chris Murphy dealer development manager for the western region of the United States. Murphy was previously assistant vice-president of marketing and product development for Western Star Finance. Eric Thomas has been named Western Star's dealer development manager for the southeastern United States.

Red Dot Corp has named Bruce Channer vice-president of sales and marketing. He previously served as vice-president of finance.

Alan E Best, operations vice-president of Eaton Corp's Truck Components Operations Worldwide (TCO) will retire by the end of second-quarter 2000. The Heavy Duty Transmission and Clutch divisions will be linked. James E Sweetnam has been named operations vice-president for these two operations. He remains based in Kalamazoo MI and will continue to serve as vice-president/general manager for the Heavy Duty Transmission Division until a successor is named. DeWayne Egly, vice-president/general manager-Clutch Division, remains based in Auburn IN. Gregory Lang, vice-president/general manager for the Light/Medium-Duty Transmission Division, remains in Amsterdam. A new Truck Electronics Division will be formed with Timothy J Morscheck as the vice-president/general manager. He will remain in Kalamazoo. This new division will integrate the Automated Products, Trucking Information Services, and Eaton VORAD businesses. David D Renz will become vice-president-sales and marketing, worldwide for truck components. He assumes worldwide responsibility, including European sales and marketing, with the retirement of Joaquin Zuza.

TODCO has appointed Robert E DeBlasi district sales manager, responsible for sales in Southern California, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona.

Magline Inc has appointed David Straw president and chief operating officer. He comes to Magline from Cuyahoga Steel & Wire LLP, where he was president and chief executive officer. Straw replaces D Brian Law, who will continue to serve as chairman of the board of directors and CEO.

Keith Gelinas has accepted the position of sales director-truck products at Woodridge IL-based Hendrickson Truck Suspension Systems. Dave Overmyer has been named director of sales for fleets and vehicles. Dan Lyne has been named Navistar account manager, while Curt Wagner will be the new Mack account manager at Hendrickson. Doug Sanford has been appointed director of the OEM Marketing Group. Doug Henson has assumed responsibility for the Aftermarket and Elastomers Group, and John Ruley has been promoted to product manager for nondrive systems.

Detroit Diesel Corp has appointed Robert R "Randy" Allran, currently executive vice-president of operations, to executive vice-president of engineering and operations. David F Merrion has announced his retirement effective at the end of 2000.
