Thermo King Corp has announced that John Arkesteyn is its new shuttle and vehicle-powered truck product manager. Previously, he served as plant manager in Minneapolis MN for three years. Jerry Duppler is the company's new trailer product manager. He returns from sister company Hussmann, where he served as strategic account team leader in Seattle WA. Tom Kampf, who has been named APU product manager for Thermo King, comes to the firm from ADC Telecommunications, where most recently he was vice-president of product management. Kevin Stamets has been hired as Thermo King's new manager of aftermarket marketing, based in Minneapolis. Previously, he was with Graco Inc as director of sales and marketing for the process business unit.
John W Finley has joined Hercules Manufacturing Co as an inside sales person. He most recently worked as the manager of Wanlima USA. Tim Tucker has been hired by Hercules as a regional sales manager responsible for the state of Kentucky. He most recently worked with the Indiana University Athletics department in Bloomington IN as a mentor, tutor, and administrative assistant.
Bill Fautch is the new director of operations at Hendrickson Truck Suspension Systems of Woodridge IL and is responsible for manufacturing operations at the truck suspension systems plants in Kendallville IN and Lebanon KY. Paul Schouwstra succeeds him as plant general manager for Hendrickson Spring operations in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. A two-year veteran of Hendrickson, Schouwstra served as manufacturing manager for the past year. Jon Jeffries has been named Hendrickson's director of trailer OEM sales and will work out of Indianapolis IN. A nine-year veteran of the firm, he has held several positions including senior trailer account manager. Pat Brandt has been hired as trailer account manager and will be based in Kalamazoo MI. He joined the Hendrickson sales group from Dana Corp, where he was business development manager.
Melissa Kellogg has been named by Freightliner LLC as the new director of product marketing for Freightliner Trucks. Joining the company in 1998, she most recently served as the manager of market planning and analysis.
Dave McInnis has joined SAF-Holland USA Sales as OEM account manager-trailer and will be based in Davidson NC. He comes to the company from Stemco, where he worked as a business development manager-heavy-duty.
Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC has named Richard Tanhauser human resources manager for its new wheel-end manufacturing facility in Bowling Green KY, and Scott Herndon is the new manufacturing engineering manager. Tanhauser, who has been HR manager at the Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems manufacturing facility in Frankfort KY the past six years, will maintain his HR duties at Frankfort until the facility shuts down in late 2007. Herndon served nearly six years as plant industrial engineer with Perdue Farms in Monterey TN.
Douglas Clark, president and chief executive officer of AmeriQuest Transportation and Logistics Resources, is a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2007 Award in the greater Philadelphia region. Clark was selected as a finalist from nearly 40 nominations by a panel of independent judges.
