Nick Wysong (pictured above) has joined ASA Electronics as inside sales account manager for the commercial vehicle industry. His primary focus will be building new and expanding existing accounts with the tractor/trailer markets as well as working closely with fire apparatus companies. An Elkhart IN native, Wysong studied business for two years at the University of Pittsburgh and two years at Western Michigan University. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Management and Communications from WMU.

Red Dot Corporation, a provider of heating and air-conditioning for commercial and military vehicles, announced the appointment of Ken Montelongo as the new aftermarket regional manager. With more than two decades of sales experience, Montelongo brings a versatile skillset to his role. Most recently, he directed sales at Genuine Parts Company as the district sales manager in Sacramento CA, where he oversaw equipment and tooling sales for all Napa Auto Parts stores in northern California and northern Nevada. Montelongo previously managed online sales and advertising at Folsom Buick GMC, and was the owner and general manager of Unique Motors and Marine.

Choptank Transport, a third-party logistics provider headquartered in Preston MD, has promoted Marcia Wood (pictured above) to chief financial officer. She previously served as the firm’s vice-president of finance. Wood received a bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in accounting from Goldey-Beacom College in Delaware. She is also a licensed certified public accountant and a designated chartered global management accountant. Wood has received several awards, including the Best in Finance CFO Award from the Baltimore Business Journal in 2014 and the Rising Star Award from Goldey-Beacom College in 2006.

Roadrunner Transportation Systems Inc has promoted Frank Hurst to president of Roadrunner Freight, the company’s asset-light LTL business. Hurst joined the company in January 2017 as senior vice-president of sales & marketing for Roadrunner Freight after serving three years as vice-president/general manager for North America Corporation. His career includes 21 years in the transportation industry, including 16 years at FedEx Freight and as executive vice-president at LTL carrier Vitran Express. Grant Crawford, former Roadrunner Freight president, is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

Americold, provider of temperature-controlled warehousing and logistics to the food industry, announced that Tim Hinckley (pictured above) has joined the company as an executive vice-president and chief commercial officer. Hinckley joins Americold from his most recent role as senior vice-president of global logistics at Hasbro, where he was responsible for warehousing, transportation and customs brokerage. Prior to that, he worked for 27 years across a variety of FedEx business units with his final role being managing director of global accounts.

Pelican Products Inc, the designer and manufacturer of temperature-controlled packaging, has appointed Landon Verhoeven to lead its western United States commercial sales operations. He will be taking over for Mitra Giles, who was recently promoted to vice-president. His responsibility is to drive new business development in the company’s Commercial Division. Verhoeven worked his way up through the ranks of Pelican sales from regional salesperson to regional sales manager to his new role by growing sales nearly 10% year-over-year throughout his tenure. Prior to joining Pelican, he worked for Battery Systems, where he drove double-digit growth for his sales territory.

Transervice Logistics Inc, a provider of customized transportation solutions, has appointed David Wilke (pictured above) as director of sales, Midwest, where he will have responsibility for managing sales opportunities and developing new customer relationships in the Midwest region. Previously, he was director of operations for Compass Lease LLC in Burr Ridge IL, overseeing operations and maintenance functions for some 4,000 trailers at five national branches; general manager of the new Compass Truck Rental division, where he headed the sales, maintenance and finance departments at three locations; and rental account manager with Ryder System Inc with territory responsibility for generating rental, lease and used-vehicle sales leads and processes.

Leyman Lift Gates announced that Joe Howeth has joined the company as a national accounts manager based in Dallas TX. Howeth comes to Leyman from Bluff Manufacturing, where he was sales manager for the West and Southeast regions. A 15-year sales and business development veteran, he served 14 years at Magline Inc, where he was initially hired as regional sales manager, becoming business development manager/national delivery systems sales manager after three years.
