England Logistics acquires certain assets of Kampstra

England Logistics, one of the nation’s largest freight brokerage firms and third-party logistics (3PL) companies, has announced the acquisition of certain assets of Portland OR-based Kampstra Transportation and Logistics LLC.

Through this action, England Logistics will provide greater service to its brokerage customers in the Northwest and throughout the United States.

Shaun Beardall, previously director of container operations, will take on the role of general manager. He will oversee corporate integration of the new office and work to expand its footprint as a full-service freight brokerage offering. All Kampstra employees will join England Logistics, including Jim Kampstra, who will serve as national account manager working closely with all current customers. The transition into an England Logistics office offers opportunity for new and improved abilities to better meet the needs of customers.

“With this acquisition, we know our customers will continue to receive the same quality service they enjoyed with Kampstra Transportation while benefiting from greater industry footprint and the vast service set England Logistics brings to the table,” said Jason Beardall, executive vice-president of England Logistics.

England Logistics is a full-service transportation and logistics provider with offices in North America and mainland China. It provides a complete line of transportation modes including full truckload, less-than-truckload, intermodal, freight forwarding, and supply chain management.
