Contract logistics provider Exel and its sister company DHL Supply Chain hosted its 2015 Transportation Solutions Carrier Summit in March to recognize select intermodal, less-than-truckload (LTL), and truckload carrier customers with its 2014 Carrier Performance Awards.
The summit, which took place in Plantation FL, featured an award ceremony and working sessions designed to foster collaboration between Exel and its carrier customers.
Nearly 40 North American carriers participated in the event. Those honored with a 2014 Carrier Performance Award included:

Breakout sessions provided an opportunity for attendees to collaborate on industry challenges and highlight best-in-class transportation management solutions offered by Exel. Key discussion themes included the need for third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to provide visibility into the process, respond to sector cycles, and improve productivity to help respond to supply and demand.
