Fresh Logistics’ performance earns laurels

Fresh Logistics, a United Kingdom-based temperature-controlled logistics company, has received another national award in recognition of its outstanding performance within Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) category.
The company is a specialized refrigerated courier and a temperature-controlled transport service, providing dual-compartment multi-temperature vehicles throughout the UK and Europe.
Fresh Logistics won SME Operator 2014 honors and was a finalist in the Corporate Responsibility category of the Storage, Handling & Distribution (SHD) Logistics group. The ceremony was held at the Park Lane Hotel in London, England recently. Awards were hosted by comedian Miles Jupp.
Nominated by its industry peers and customers throughout the UK and Europe, Fresh Logistics faced competition from Marks & Spencer’s, Unipart, Briggs, Coors Brewing, and Premier Foods. Its nomination was then reviewed by the SHD Logistics panel of expert judges, who concluded Fresh Logistics to be the winner and finalist.
“To win such an award amongst so many great companies is a fantastic achievement,” said Alan White, managing director of Fresh Logistics. “Winning SME Operator is an absolute thrill, and it is a tremendous honor. This award holds such value because it is the industry that nominated us, and our nomination was reinforced by the industry’s leading experts within the panel of judges. This award is an accolade for the whole team at Fresh Logistics—yet again, it is due to their high standards and values that this award was won.”
