The site, designed by New York City-based Bayard Advertising Agency Inc, has a modernized design more inline with Swift’s brand identity. It features intuitive navigation and user-friendly functionality, all made to reflect Swift’s positions as a leader in service and transportation systems.
As of December 31, 2011, Phoenix AZ-based Swift operated a tractor fleet of about 15,900 units. The fleet consists of 11,900 tractors driven by company drivers and 4,000 owner-operator tractors, a fleet of 50,555 trailers, and 6,210 intermodal containers from 34 major terminals near freight centers and traffic lanes in the United States and Mexico.
The firm’s suite of services includes general, dedicated and cross-border US/Mexico/Canada service, temperature-controlled, flatbed, and specialized trailers. Also offered are rail intermodal and non-asset-based freight brokerage and logistics management services.
