PFS opens its newest facility in Lynden WA

Preferred Freezer Services (PFS), provider of advanced design and engineered temperature-controlled warehouses, is celebrating the opening of its newest facility in Lynden WA. The facility marks the company’s second location in Washington state and 35th in the United States.

Construction of the new facility broke ground in late March 2015. Its completion adds 11 million cubic feet of cold storage capacity to the continually expanding footprint. The facility has opened just in time for the local agricultural community’s harvest season.

Time was of the essence during construction. Todd Klumok, PFS executive vice-president of business development, praised “the city of Lynden, Victory Construction, and all of the local subcontractors for completing the facility on an extremely tight timeline.”

Klumok added that he speaks for all of PFS when he notes that he is “very excited to be a part of the local community that has welcomed us with open arms.”
