Nominate a special produce performer for an award

United Fresh has opened the nomination period for the 2017 Produce Excellence in Foodservice Awards Program, which honors the foodservice industry’s most innovative produce performers. This year will mark the 10th anniversary of the program.

The program, sponsored by PRO*ACT LLC since its inception, has honored more than 50 chefs and foodservice operators for their exceptional work in incorporating fresh produce.

Winners are selected by a panel of United Fresh member representatives. Nominations must be submitted by January 15, 2017. The eight winners and their corporate executives receive complimentary airfare, hotel accommodations and registrations to United Fresh 2017, set for June 13-15 in Chicago.

In addition to sponsorship of the program, PRO*ACT will make a donation to a charitable organization of each winner’s choice.

Submit nominations at www.unitedfresh.org/fsa. For more information about the award program, contact Miriam Wolk at [email protected] or 202-303-3410.
