Pelican BioThermal expands its presence

Pelican BioThermal, a provider of temperature-controlled packaging solutions serving the life sciences industry, has announced its partnership with Kryotec, based in Mexico City, Mexico.

This partnership aligns with Pelican BioThermal’s goal to expand distribution of its temperature-controlled packaging within growing and emerging world markets, and follows recent announcements of newly added distribution in Asia and South America.

“At Pelican BioThermal, we strive to offer advanced and efficient solutions for the pharmaceutical, life sciences, clinical trials, and leading supply chain logistics industry companies on an international scale,” said Kevin Lawler, vice-president of worldwide sales at Pelican BioThermal. “With the addition of a partner in Mexico, we will be able to better serve our mutual customers in the region with a broad portfolio of temperature-controlled packaging for a variety of applications, utilizing both our reusable Credo packaging and single-use Chronos packaging.”

Kryotec offers cold chain logistics support in Mexico. Located in Mexico City, it was founded in 1997, forming the first Mexican company offering qualified packaging solutions for temperature-sensitive products.

Pelican BioThermal is a division of Pelican Products Inc, which is a portfolio company of Behrman Capital, a private equity investment firm based in New York and San Francisco. For more information, see www.pelicanbiothermal.com.
