Contship Containerlines introduces vessel

Contship Containerlines has introduced the Contship Aurora, the first of three new vessels for service between Europe and Australia and Asia. The Aurora has completed it sea trials and will enter service Sept 16, 2002, from Auckland, New Zealand. The Aurora and its two sisters will have container capacity of 41,00 TEU and 1,300 refrigeration system plugs. The large reefer capacity, 25% of vessel total capacity, will enhance the company's ability to handle perishable cargo.
