Blue Tree Systems has announced a strategic expansion of its North American business, with the addition of senior transportation personnel and the opening of a new office in Greensboro NC. The move is designed to support its expanding customer base by strengthening its sales, account management, support, and customer implementation teams.
“Growth in the North American market has been significant for Blue Tree in recent years, and 2015 is poised to exceed all expectations” said L T “Chip” Powell, director of US operations for Blue Tree. “Increased demand for our temperature management and tracking solutions as well as the launch of our new industry-leading BT500 ELD (electronic logging device) truck platform are key drivers. The new BT500 platform supports Android-based displays and offers customers huge flexibility for their professional drivers. Customers will be able to select from multiple in-cab screen devices or ‘bring their own device’ that will function with Blue Tree software applications installed locally. The BT500, with advance connectivity options, overcomes many industrywide challenges by allowing fleets to select the driver interface device that best fits their business.”
Blue Tree has expanded in North America since late 2014 with the addition of four senior sales staff in the United States and Canada. More customer service staff have been added to offices in Greensboro. Plans call for still more staff in the Greensboro location over the coming weeks as call center support hours are expanded and new accounts are activated.
