MacroPoint integrates with CarrierWeb

MacroPoint, creators of patented freight tracking software designed to give third-party visibility into load status, has announced an integration with CarrierWeb, a provider of real-time mobile communications, electronic logging and refrigerated telematics technology for private and for-hire fleets.
This seamless integration enables mutual carrier, shipper, and broker customers to instantly share freight tracking information tailored to their service requirements.
Used with a driver’s mobile phone, including flip phones, or existing in-cab ELD/GPS devices, MacroPoint’s patented location tracking software gives third parties load status and location visibility on their shipments. With MacroPoint, brokers, 3PLs, and shippers have real-time location tracking, on-time delivery monitoring, and arrival and departure notifications that enhance efficiency and profitability.
“By integrating with our MacroPoint freight tracking software, CarrierWeb is seamlessly providing visibility into the location of freight for our mutual customers,” said Glynn Spangenberg, senior vice-president/general manager of MacroPoint. “We designed our third-party load tracking software to integrate with solutions that carriers, brokers, and shippers are already using to manage their operations without needing additional software, and we’re pleased that CarrierWeb has joined our growing list of partners.”
Since 2002, the US-based CarrierWeb group of companies has emerged as a global leader in real-time mobile communications, electronic logging, and refrigerated telematics technology for private and for-hire fleets, providing immediately actionable business intelligence to enhance fleet profitability. The CarrierWeb focus is on providing innovative mobile communications solutions at an affordable cost to streamline operations, improve CSA scores, and simplify driver workflow.
