Infinity Transportation Logistics adds staff, upgrades its services

After this summer’s open house for its new operations office in the Crossroads District of Kansas City, Infinity Transportation Logistics LLC has added staff, upgraded software/information technology systems, and expanded service offerings to keep pace with increasing growth.

In early August, Marcus Dozier joined the ITL team as an operations specialist in its Kansas City office. He joins ITL from Huntsville AL, where he earned a BS in Logistics from Alabama A&M University, and was captain of the university’s football team.

ITL also recently implemented McLeod Software as its operating platform. McLeod is a fully integrated transportation management system that will help further improve efficiencies with customers, dray carriers, rail carriers, and 3PLs.

Furthermore, ITL now has operating agreements with the major Class I railroads in North America. It can provide expedited eastbound temperature-controlled door-to-door domestic intermodal service from Washington state and Oregon to these destinations: Illinois (greater Chicago, western Michigan, southern Wisconsin, and northern Indiana); New York (Buffalo area, New York City and its boroughs); Pennsylvania (Chambersburg, Harrisburg, and Philadelphia areas); Maryland (greater Baltimore area); Massachusetts (Boston and Springfield areas); Georgia (greater Atlanta area); and Florida (Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa Bay areas).

ITL uses state-of-the-art domestic 53-foot refrigerated containers to move frozen foods (including. frozen French fries, frozen fish, frozen vegetables, frozen juice concentrate), fresh produce (apples, potatoes, pears, onions, carrots) and other refrigerated products eastbound from Washington and Oregon to the Midwest and East Coast.

For return westbound service from the aforementioned locations to Washington and Oregon, ITL can haul various refrigerated and temperature-controlled products (eg, frozen pizza, frozen yogurt, frozen seafood, frozen dough, beverages, frozen juice concentrate) or dry products.

ITL’s expedited door-to-door intermodal temperature-controlled service departs from/returns to intermodal ramps in Seattle WA, Spokane WA, and Portland OR six days per week. Working with Class I railroad partners, ITL has established door-to-door service with transit times of about five to six days to/from the Midwest and seven to eight days to/from various destinations on the East Coast.

The firm has a service radius of about 160 miles from/to intermodal ramps in Seattle, Spokane, and Portland, and can pick up/drop off product in many parts of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
