The devices are designed to allow real-time tracking of perishable shipments by providing temperature and location data through the Cydiance Book cloud-based web software, CAS said. Temperature data is displayed in graphs and location data is shown in maps. Lorca data loggers incorporate quad-band modems with LBS base station positioning, allowing domestic and international shipment tracking.
Data can be exported from the website as an Excel spreadsheet or PDF report, which includes summary statistics and a detailed list of time, temperature and location data.
