Richmond VA-based Legacy Foodservice Alliance distributor and supplier members collaborated on a contribution to the Susan G Komen Foundation at the most recent Marketplace in Leesburg VA. The Marketplace is Legacy’s buying and business conference that takes place in the spring and autumn of each year.
Steve Push, CEO of Legacy, said, “It is hard to find a person who has not been affected by a family member fighting breast cancer. This touches everyone. Team Legacy is honored and proud to do what we can to help find a cure.”
The individual contributions were more than doubled by additional funds from the Legacy offices, located in Glen Allen VA.
“Our business is a people business, and from time to time, people need help and support. We look forward to assisting wherever we can in 2019, through our continuing philanthropic efforts,” said Push.
Legacy is a national organization that combines the purchasing power of more than 160 distributors and 600 suppliers, to bring the best products at the best prices. It was established in 2009 by people who are well-known in foodservice. Drawing on decades of cumulative experience and positive influences of the past, Legacy continues to build the distributor group of the future.
